What is the ASVAB?
The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) determines which military jobs you qualify for. The test is free and available at Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) or through the student ASVAB at schools. Your AFQT score (derived from four subtests) determines whether you can enlist, while individual subtest scores determine which jobs (MOS/ratings) you qualify for.
